Office of Graduate Studies

Welcome to Central Washington University’s Graduate Studies and Research Office. We are dedicated to providing quality graduate programs that prepare students for doctoral study and professional careers. In addition to our campus-based graduate degree programs, we offer several online master’s degree programs in the fields of education, and health and physical education.

Along with professional and academic development, Central provides numerous funding opportunities to help pay for graduate school. There are assistantships, grants and fellowships, scholarships, and financial aid. CWU’s satellite campuses and online master’s degree programs give place-bound students additional flexibility to pursue advanced degrees. Graduate Studies faculty and advisors work closely with students to ensure their academic success.

It endeavors to address the needs of the workforce, prepare students for doctoral study, and create partnerships between faculty and students. It extends scholarship through research, creativity, and practice. In addition, advanced education fuels the economic development engine of the region.
