Graduate Hooding and Commencement Ceremony 

Friday, June 10th, 2022 – 6:00PM
Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Ballroom 
– Ellensburg Campus

Commencement is the capstone celebration of your hard work and commitment, as well as a celebration of the lasting memories you have forged at Central Washington University. The 2022 commencement ceremonies are quickly approaching. Please keep an eye on the commencement website, where information will be posted as it develops. This year, the School of Graduate Studies and Research will hold its annual Graduate Hooding and Commencement ceremony in person. All eligible Master’s and Education Specialist (EdS) degree candidates are welcome to attend. Students are highly encouraged to participate in this ceremony, as it serves as the only official commencement for Master’s and Education Specialist students.

The School of Graduate Studies and Research is dedicated to providing quality graduate programs that prepare students for professional careers and doctoral programs. Our graduate students learn something new every day in small classes taught by dedicated graduate faculty.

In addition to our campus-based graduate degree programs, we offer programs at our satellite campuses. Our online master’s degree programs give place-bound students additional flexibility to pursue advanced degrees. There are also numerous funding opportunities to help pay for graduate school such as assistantships, grants, tuition waivers, fellowships, scholarships, and financial aid.
