CWU Film Program

Wildcat Films (WCF) is a student run production house. WCF oversees all Film Program productions on campus including narrative short films, documentaries, marketing, promotional, PSA, concerts, studio, and lecture series.

The student leadership entertains requests for film/video services and decides which opportunities to pursue and then manages the projects to ensure timely completion of a quality finished product.

New majors automatically become members of Wildcat Films upon acceptance into the Film Program and are encouraged to get involved early on with the various and ongoing production opportunities available to all film students. WCF also maintains script and casting libraries that can be used by all film students wanting to produce narrative short films.

Service Request Form

Wildcat Films takes on several external film projects every quarter on a space/time available basis. If you and/or your group would like to be considered for one of these slots then please fill in the form below and press submit. The WCF team will evaluate the submissions as they come in and will report back shortly with a decision. Though we occassionally take on pro bono projects it is more typical that we charge a nominal fee so please include budget figures, if available, in the request form. (Please note that Wildcat Films is closed during the summer and resumes business in late September every year)
