The William O. Douglas Honors College (DHC) is Central's premier interdisciplinary program for academically talented students. The DHC offers exclusive courses taught by the finest and respected faculty who consistently strive to help foster scholarly and critical thought in our students. Honors college students take DHC designated courses to satisfy Central’s general education requirements and complete an upper-division faculty mentored capstone project.
The DHC also provides students with special housing in the DHC's Living and Learning Community (Barto Hall), a partial tuition waiver, and extracurricular opportunities such as travel to conferences and cultural events.
