Student Resources

The Purpose of Student Organizations

You find yourself surrounded by a wealth of student resources in the communication department, tools and supports designed to optimize your learning journey. There's the state-of-the-art digital media lab, where you can learn hands-on techniques for content creation. And don't forget the expansive library of resources, books, online databases, and scholarly journals that underpin your research and coursework.

Guidance from experienced faculty and communication professionals is always at your fingertips, to help navigate the dynamic field. If you need assistance with course materials, academic advisors are eager to help. Your department also organizes regular workshops and networking events, facilitating invaluable connections with industry professionals. It's an environment filled with opportunities and resources, all tailored to inspire, assist, and prepare you for a successful career in communications.

Get Involved

Student organizations provide a variety of experiences. The department strongly encourages students to become involved in at least one organization. It is a great way to meet people, build connections, develop one's resume, and a place to apply classroom learning.
