Welcome to the Department of Accounting 

You’re a problem-solver. You like to tackle problems in a structured and methodical way. With hands-on instruction that emphasizes practice, CWU’s Accounting programs offer paths to gainful careers in all sectors of the economy. 

Studying accounting is more than learning about debits versus credits. It’s about you, and how CWU Accounting programs can help you launch a career in virtually any industry with knowledge, skills, and credentials in professional accountancy, management accounting, and taxation. In CWU Accounting programs you will find the curriculum integrated with core principles in Business and complemented by professional development opportunities in industries.

When you complete the undergraduate Accounting program, you will graduate career-ready with solid skills, and flexible options to pursue graduate programs that will prepare you for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE).
