Summer MA Program
As the academic year winds down and summer dawns, you may find yourself longing to continue your journey in theatre studies. The summer courses are a unique opportunity to immerse yourself more deeply in the craft, away from the hustle and bustle of your usual routine. These courses often provide specialized, intensive training in areas such as acting techniques, stage design, playwriting, or directing, under the guidance of seasoned professionals. You sign up for a course that appeals to your interests and ambitions. You find the learning environment to be invigorating, as the bright summer days are spent exploring theoretical concepts and evenings are filled with practical applications, rehearsals, and performances. Participating in summer courses not only enhances your skills but also broadens your network, connecting you with likeminded peers and industry professionals. These enriching experiences ultimately equip you to return to your regular studies with a replenished perspective, inspired to take on new theatrical challenges.
Taking Summer Classes is Easier than Ever
It’s never too early to start planning for summer. Be sure to talk to your academic advisor this winter about enrolling in Summer Session. Do something important this summer. Make plans to take classes that help you get your Gen Ed and prerequisite courses out of the way, are required for your major, and help you finish your degree faster.
Central offers two sessions, a six-week and a 10-week session. To make it easier for you to fit into your summer schedule, many courses are offered online, as well as offered at our University Centers. Search summer courses offered. If you don’t see the class you’re looking for, be sure to let us know.
