A recent publication by CWU MS alum Kailie Dombrawsky and Dr. Mary Lee Jensvold describes use of American Sign Language by Tatu and Loulis while living at the Fauna Foundation. This work was initiated at CWU's Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute (CHCI) before Tatu and Loulis moved. For more information on CHCI please contact Dr. Mary Lee Jensvold.
Further information on the CHCI and Washoe was recently shared in CWU News.
