LAJ Teaching Assistant Request
- The student must be a LAJ major or minor.
- The student must have successfully completed the course they will be a TA in.
- The student must have completed all Basic Skills or have transferred in with an Associate's Degree.
- TAs may earn 1 to 4 credits per quarter (to be determined by the instructor based on how much work the TA will do; one credit equals 30 hours of work).
- This TA appointment may be repeated up to a maximum of 8 credits.
- S/U grading only.
- LAJ 492 will not be approved as a substitute for a substantive course in the major core or specialization.
- All Teaching Assistants MUST complete FERPA training. Please speak to instructor about training.

This form will be sent to the selected professor to be approved. Once approved, student will receive course code to enroll for TA credits.
