Degree Options:

Large plan: Our large plan embraces a traditional academic plan that does not require a minor or secondary major, though a related minor is always encouraged. A one-year study abroad experience at one of our cooperating sister schools in Japan is required.

Small plan: Pursuing this major means you'll also need to choose a minor in a discipline related to Japanese. You'll create a personalized program of study that combines your interests in both majors and work closely with an advisor who will guide and support you throughout the process.
