Earn University Credits During High School

Challenge yourself and get a jump start on your college career for little to no cost with Running Start classes at CWU-Sammamish.

CWU welcomes eligible high school juniors (11th grade) and seniors (12th grade) to participate in the Running Start program at Sammamish. Students enrolled in the Running Start program are able to take college courses tuition-free. The credits earned from these courses are generally transferable to other colleges and universities, while also satisfying high school graduation requirements. Students may enroll simultaneously in high school and college courses, or exclusively in college courses.
