Available starting in the 2025-2026 Academic Year!

Sport Management Living Learning Community

Do you want to live and learn alongside other Sport Management (SPM) students here at CWU? The Sport Management LLC, located in Dugmore Hall, is your unique opportunity to immerse yourself in all things sport. As a Sport Management major, you may apply to this exciting program and expand your networking and professional development opportunities. You will have access to: study groups, familiar faces in your classes, dedicated SPM faculty, and LLC-exclusive guest speakers. This isn't a game; it's sport!

Sport Management Living Learning Community Goals:

  • The Sport Management LLC will create and offer SPM study groups for residents within the first year of operation.
  • The Sport Management LLC will host monthly faculty discussion sessions, during which students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and engage in discussions on topics/issues of their choosing.
  • The Sport Management LLC will offer three (3) guest speaker engagements per academic year (once quarterly).
  • The Sport Management LLC will partner with the CWU Sport Management Association, and the Northwest Center for Sport (NWCS), to provide learning and professional development opportunities for students.

Requirements for entry into the Living Learning Community

Participation in the Sport Management LLC will require that students declare one or more of the following programs: Sport Management Major, Sport Business Minor, Sport Coaching Minor, or Outdoor Adventure Minor. Students enrolled in SPM 101 who have not yet declared the Sport Management Major may apply for the LLC with faculty approval.
