The complete list of qualifiers is available here.

Two men and two women are scheduled to represent Central Washington. Junior Kodiak Landis will compete in the heptathlon, where he currently ranks fifth in the nation after scoring a season-high point total of 5,269 at the GNAC Indoor Championships. The heptathlon will be the first event of the meet, beginning Thursday at 11 a.m.

In the triple jump, senior Luke Plummer is slated to compete for CWU. Plummer cemented himself in Wildcat and GNAC history as the first four-time GNAC Indoor Champion in the triple jump. Plummer tied his own and GNAC meet record in the event with a jump measuring 49 feet, 5 inches. Plummer enters the NCAA Indoor Championships ranked 16th overall. The men's triple jump is scheduled for Friday at 11:55 a.m.

Senior McKenna Emmert will participate in the pole vault for the Wildcats on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Emmert finished second in the even at the GNAC Championships after clearing a height of 3.67 meters. At the Jackson Invitational earlier this year, Emmert cleared a season-high height of 3.80 meters, which ranks 12th nationally.

Mariyah Vongsaveng will showcase her skill in the 60-meter hurdles on Friday at 4:15 p.m. Vongsaveng recently broke the GNAC meet record in the preliminary rounds of the 60-meter hurdles and her season-best time of 8.51 seconds ranks sixth in the nation this year.

The championships will be held March 9-11 at the Birmingham CrossPlex, as part of the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championships Festival. The University of Alabama in Huntsville and the City of Birmingham will serve as co-hosts of the championships.
