Reminder: Board of Trustees Meeting October 29 and 30


The Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold a quarterly meeting on October 29 and 30, 2020. The meeting will be held virtually from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on October 29 and 10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on October 30. The public may view the meetings at https://video.cwu.edu.

On Thursday, October 29, the first item on the agenda will be an opportunity for public comment, which will be conducted by Zoom. Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at www.cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via e-mail to cwu.president@cwu.edu by Tuesday, October 27, at 5:00 p.m. Speakers will need to provide their email and phone number at that time, so that arrangements can be made for speakers to access the meeting virtually.

The board also will discuss progress on university-wide goals and will be updated on enrollment and budget.

On Friday, October 30, the board will convene in executive session for one hour and 15 minutes for the purpose of discussing issues related to personnel and litigation, per RCW 42.30.110(g) and (i). The business meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. The board will receive a presidential search report, discuss the CWU Foundation campaign, and conduct board business.
