Notice: CWU Trustees to Meet July 25 and 26, 2019


On Thursday, July 25, the Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold a quarterly meeting on the Ellensburg campus.

The board’s work session convenes at 1:30 in the Wellington Event Center, Barto Hall. The work session will cover the fiscal year 2020 University budget as well as a university-wide review of CWU’s mission and core themes. Board members will then tour Dugmore Hall, a new residence facility slated to open fall 2019.

Board members will attend a social dinner at 6:00 PM, at Swiftwater Winery in Cle Elum. No university business will be conducted at the dinner.

On Friday, July 26, the Central Washington University Board of Trustees will meet in executive session from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. as allowed under RCW 42.30.110(g) and (i) at the Suncadia Lodge, Miller room. Following the executive session, the business meeting will begin at 9:45 a.m., also in the Miller room, and will include a public comment period.

Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at www.cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via e-mail to cwu.president@cwu.edu by Tuesday, July 23, at 5:00 p.m.
