CWU Trustees to Meet at CWU Sammamish February 21-22, 2019


 

On Thursday, February 21, from 1:30-4:30 p.m., the Central Washington University Board of Trustees will hold its regular quarterly meeting at CWU Sammamish, an instructional site that provides general education undergraduate classes, which are open to the public. CWU-Sammamish is located at 120 228th Ave NE, Sammamish, WA 98074. This meeting will be available via live video stream at: http://video.cwu.edu.

 

During the meeting, Trustees will officially recognize the support CWU received from the Ellensburg Police Department during the recent emergency response on campus. The resolution applauds the police department for its rapid response to the report and assistance as the campus was secured.

 

Board members will attend a social dinner at 6:00 p.m., at Blu Sardinia, in Redmond, WA. No university business will be discussed at the dinner.

 

On Friday, February 22, the Board will meet in executive session from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. as allowed under RCW 42.30.110 at the Seattle Marriott Redmond, located at 8862 161st Avenue NE, Redmond, WA. The business meeting will begin at 9:45 a.m., and will include a public comment period.

 

Rules pertaining to the public comment period are available at www.cwu.edu/trustees. To participate in the public comment period, speakers must identify themselves and the topic to be addressed via e-mail to cwu.president@cwu.edu by Tuesday, February 19, at 5:00 p.m.
