Arturo TorresCentral Washington University today announced the hiring of Arturo Torres as the university’s new Registrar.

“Arturo brings more than 13 years of experience working in registrar services and in university admissions and recruitment,” said CWU President James L. Gaudino. “He understands the challenges and demands in the Registrar’s office, which is moving to digitize all of its records, and has the experience and skills to help us make that transition.”

Mr. Torres said he was particularly impressed with the knowledgeable and dedicated staff he met during the interview process.

“They take their jobs seriously and are committed to doing it correct and proper,” he continued. “This is the team I want to work with and who I want to make sure are introduced and recognized across Central Washington University for the work they do.
