CWU Music Presents a Spooktacular Halloween Concert October 27

The CWU Symphony Orchestra will present their 21st Annual Halloween Concert featuring the CWU Chamber Choir, for a night of eerie and spine-tingling music. The groups will perform deliciously frightful favorites, including pieces by Mozart, Revueltas, Holst, and John Williams.

The concert will be performed at 7:00 p.m. on October 27 in the McIntyre Music Building Concert Hall.  General admission tickets are $12.00 and should be purchased in advance online, at www.cwu.edu/music. Parking in CWU lots is free after 4:30 on weekdays, except in specially marked spaces and in residence hall lots.

Since the 1930s, the Central Symphony Orchestra has made a tradition of performing a macabre music concert in late October. Perennial favorites are Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, Grieg’s Peer Gynt, Berlioz’s March to the Scaffold, and Strauss’s, Die Fledermaus (The Bat.).

Get your tickets early, as this popular concert often sells out.
