Associate Vice President for Campus Planning and Facilities Open Forums


Central Washington University will be interviewing three candidates for Associate Vice President for Campus Planning and Facilities. Staff, faculty, and students are invited to attend open forums that have been scheduled for each of the candidates.

Candidates include:

• John Morris, who previously served as Associate Vice President for Facility Services at Northern Arizona University and as Director of Facilities Operations at the University of Colorado Boulder. Morris holds an MS degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University. His open forum is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14 at 2 p.m. in Barge 412. • Jon Lebo, who previously served as Director, Major Capital Projects, Capital Planning and Development at the University of Washington (UW) and as Associate Director, Special Projects Group, Capital Projects Office at UW. Lebo is a licensed architect with a BS in Building Construction from UW. His open forum is scheduled for Friday, November 17 at 9 a.m. in Barge 412. Here is the link to his application letter and resume.

• Amr Abdel-Azim, who currently serves as Senior Architect at Michigan State University and previously worked as Senior Executive for Capital Projects at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. He holds a Master of Urban Planning degree from Michigan State University. His open forum is scheduled for Friday, November 17 at 11 a.m. in Barge 412.
