CWU Welcomes Prospective Students for Expanded Wildcat Preview Day

Central Washington University will welcome nearly 1,600 guests to Ellensburg on Saturday, April 9, 2022, for a newly expanded Spring Wildcat Preview Day.
The CWU Admissions team worked with departments across the university to create this interactive, high-energy opportunity for future Wildcats and their families to get to know the campus.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students and their families to experience first-hand the welcoming environment we have here at Central,” said Manuel Rodriguez, director of early college outreach. “We want everyone to have an opportunity to see our beautiful campus and make personal connections, whether that’s with current students, staff, or our faculty members.”
Spring Wildcat Preview Day includes opportunities for admitted first-year and transfer students, as well as high school juniors and seniors, to tour CWU’s campus, meet with representatives from over fifty academic departments, and get in-depth information about financial aid, housing, advising, and registration. A Spanish-language session is also available. View the event program.
In the afternoon, more than a dozen departments and laboratories will hold open houses, with hands-on demonstrations covering subjects such as art, aviation, music, health sciences, and computer science.
Wildcat Preview Day is held during fall, winter, and spring quarter and is open to all prospective and admitted students. Families interested in participating in the day can register online or find more information about virtual tours and other in-person visit opportunities at cwu.edu/admissions/visit-cwu.
Facial coverings are no longer required on CWU’s campus; however, visitors are welcome to wear a face mask. Masks will also be available at the event.
