Student Health Services Offers On-Campus Testing for Students, Employees This Week

Due to a rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in Kittitas County and across the state, CWU Student Health Services will be offering three free testing clinics on campus this week to students and employees.
Each of the clinics will be in SURC room 140 and no appointment is necessary. Tests will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Clinic dates and times are as follows:
- Wednesday, January 12: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Thursday, January 13: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Friday, January 14: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Visit the Student Health Services Testing Clinic website for additional details.
Student testing is also available by appointment at Student Health Services (SHS), on the corner of 11th and Poplar avenues. Testing appointments at SHS are available weekdays from 8:40 to 10 a.m. and from 3:20 to 5 p.m. Call 509-963-1881 to schedule an appointment.
For CWU employees and students not on campus, the KVH COVID Testing Clinic also offers testing weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 716 E. Manitoba Ave.
In addition, COVID-19 booster shots will be available for students at SHS on Wednesdays and Thursdays, by appointment, throughout winter quarter.
CWU is strongly encouraging booster shots for anyone who received the two-shot regimen of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least five months ago. A booster is recommended after two months for those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Pharmacies in Ellensburg and across the state are providing booster shots by appointment. To find a location near you and set up an appointment, visit the Washington Department of Health’s vaccine locator.
