CWU employees, register today for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI) Town Halls taking place on Thursday, November 4 in the Wellington Event Center. There are two options to choose from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m.; register in advance for whichever option best suits your schedule via Wildcat Tickets.
The DEI office will be developing and prioritizing new initiatives and would like your perspectives and input on what should be their focus.
Each Town Hall will also discuss current and upcoming initiatives the office is leading and promoting to address issues on campus, such as WA Bill 5227—a new bill that requires diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism professional development opportunities and assessments at institutions of higher education.
Both meetings will be in person with light refreshments. Registering in advance is encouraged to ensure enough refreshments for all attendees. A third Town Hall will be held virtually, sometime before the end of fall quarter.
