New Website Project Announcement
Changes are coming to Central Washington University, and we hope you are as excited as we are. The Department of Public Affairs, in collaboration with BarkleyREI, is building the university’s new website, with an expected launch date of fall 2023. Recruitment, user experience, and creating a cohesive virtual environment are all central elements of our collective vision for the site, which will be become CWU’s calling card for years to come.
With roll-out scheduled for September of next year, the project team is working tirelessly to meet both our design and technical objectives. Along with improving the site’s aesthetics, we plan to implement a new content management system that will replace Drupal—a change that will provide better search functionality and create a fresh look and feel for the site. While there are many tasks yet to be completed, our team is working hard to keep the project on track. We’ve also benefited from active participation and valuable input from individuals throughout the university, and we hope that will continue over the next year.
