Introduction to AI Literacy Workshop Series

A free, five-week series, one hour each week covering one aspect of Generative AI (genAI) Literacy. Students would be required to demonstrate four of the five learning objectives to earn a digital badge they can use in places such as LinkedIn.

A small assessment will be conducted each week guided toward a culminating project in a short essay, oral project, mind-map, etc., focusing on the current and future impacts of generative AI in their field of study/ employment. Topics will include what is GenAI and how it works, critical analysis of genAI output, effectively and efficiently prompting genAI conversations, and ethical and environmental concerns of genAI.
