Yakima Admissions Office

About the Yakima Admissions Office

The Yakima Admissions Office is co-located in the Yakima School District building.

This partnership supports local students to explore college options, receive direct support with application process, overview of onboarding, and more.

CWU knows that students have families, jobs, and commitments that don't always allow them to travel to the main office in Ellensburg. The Yakima Admissions Office provides individual appointments in English and Spanish, programming for prospective and newly admitted students, and information sessions to prepare student and their support networks to become future Wildcats.

Admissions Support & Next Steps

We’re here to support students year-round, whether they are just starting their application, considering their next steps, or getting ready for their first day at CWU. Wherever they are in the process, we are happy to help.

Students can review key next steps at their convenience through the video below, which covers:

  • Confirming their admission
  • Financial aid & scholarships
  • Housing application
  • Course registration
  • Orientation preparation
