Parking Services


CWU has made the switch to virtual parking permits and vehicle hangtags are no longer being used. Parking Services will now monitor campus parking lots based on your license plate which is your permit.

Puchasing Permits

Starting September 1, 2023, CWU employees and students can handle the following transactions online:

Here are a few things to remember:

  • Your license plate is your permit.
  • Enter it accurately and make updates immediately.
  • Parking Services monitors campus and CWU apartment parking lots based on your license plate.
  • You may only have one vehicle on campus at a time.
  • Only the permit holder can use the permit. 
  • Permit sharing is prohibited and will result in a fine.
  • Only one vehicle can be on campus at a time per permit

Important Dates

  • The Calendar year permit expire September 25, 2024.
  • The Fall quarter only permit expire January 3, 2024.

Parking Services is a division of Central Washington University Police & Public Safety. Our office is open Monday-Friday 8-5

Parking is enforced 24 hours a day, every day, so please make sure you park legally. After 4:30 p.m. some Parking Zones do not require permits. Be Sure to Read the Signs!
