Non-Resident Online Students

Waivers for Non-Resident Online Students

Matriculated students who are being charged Non-Resident tuition and who are taking only classes online may qualify for a waiver.

For more information on programs and classes, please visit the CWU Online Learning page.

There is no separate application to be considered for this waiver. Recipients are determined using CWU enrollment data.

The amount of the waiver is based on the exact amount of credits an eligible student is enrolled in each quarter. As a result, the online waivers will disburse after the Add/Drop period to allow students time to fully enroll. There is no minimum credit requirement.

Class modality must be coded as "online" for students to be considered for the waiver. In the Class Details, it must be designated Instruction Mode: Online. The Scholarships Office is not responsible for changing class modality. Please contact your academic department for assistance.
