Sean Dahlin, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sean Dahlin is an assistant professor in the Department of Sport and Movement Studies at Central Washington University. Dr. Dahlin serves as the program director for the undergraduate Sport Management program and teaches courses in the Sport & Athletic Administration master's program. He also serves as director for the CWU Northwest Center for Sport. Before CWU, Dr. Dahlin was an assistant professor for two years at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He earned his Ph.D. in Sport Management from Ohio State University and has more than 10 years of experience in athletic administration and coaching at the intercollegiate and high school levels. He centers his research on leadership styles and organizational culture and behavior as well as coaching effectiveness, particularly within intercollegiate athletics.
