  • Jack R. Dugan Sociology Award

Dugan, tenured faculty in the Department of Sociology actively pursued research, supported and participated in service to the community and university and mentored junior faculty and students.  This passion lead to Jack receiving the distinguished “Women’s Achievement Award” from the Center for Student Empowerment in 2008.

Jack passed away November 2009 and shortly thereafter his wife Andrea Dugan established and endowed the Jack R.
