Psychology
About Us
The Department of Psychology has 18 full-time faculty members and 14 part-time faculty members, about 700 undergraduate majors, and approximately 40 graduate students in school psychology and psychological science programs. We are in the process of relaunching our mental health graduate program as well.
Psychology is generally defined as the science of the behavior of individual organisms. The field offers tremendous diversity in terms of the ways in which behavior is studied and, therefore, you can tailor many of your course selections to fit with your career plans.
At CWU, a 45-credit Psychology major either online or in-person is available to students who are pursuing a second major or a minor in a related field. A 60-credit major program is available to students who have not declared a second major or a related minor.
Details of the available programs are listed in the menu "Undergraduate Programs"
