About Us

The Department of Psychology has 21 full-time faculty members and 13 part-time faculty members, about 600 undergraduate majors, and approximately 30 graduate students in school psychology, psychological science and mental health counseling graduate program.

Psychology is generally defined as the science of the behavior of individual organisms. The field offers tremendous diversity in terms of the ways in which behavior is studied and, therefore, you can tailor many of your course selections to fit with your interest areas and career plans.

At CWU, a 45-credit Psychology major either online or in-person is available to students who are pursuing a second major or a minor in a related field. A 60-credit major program is available to students who have not declared a second major or a related minor.

Details of the available programs are listed in the menu "Undergraduate Programs"
