The roll of the intern:

Capitol tours, answer phones, attend committee hearings or briefings, assist constituents, and write Congressional correspondence. The internship also provides an opportunity to work closely with Congressional staff and assist with various projects. Our in-district internship program is still in the process of getting set up, but we will absolutely need interns there soon.
