About UESL

At UESL, you'll have the chance to participate in extracurricular programs and activities sponsored by our Office of International Studies, catering to our diverse international student population.

Take advantage of the wide array of campus-wide activities available to all students—including you. We recommend considering one of our convenient on-campus residence halls as your preferred accommodation, just like most UESL students do.

University English as a Second Language (UESL) 

At UESL, our program is designed for to students who have already achieved an intermediate level or above in English and are eager to elevate their language proficiency even further. Our mission is to help you excel in both language and academic skills while fostering a deep appreciation for diverse cultures. Check out our Program Information for additional resources. 

The WorldCat Institute 

The WorldCat Institute at CWU is an enriching one-to-six-week academic and cultural experience program where you will immerse yourself in intensive English language training, engage with conversation partners, and partake in exciting afternoon activities and weekend excursions. The program fees cover everything you need, including tuition, materials, in-country transportation, cultural excursions, and room and board for the entire length of your stay. Interested? Enhance your English language proficiency through engaging and enjoyable learning experiences in the WorldCat Connections Intensive English Courses.
