Friends Club

For AUAP and CWU students who feel they don't have the time to commit to meeting regularly with a Campus or community Friend partner, or for those who want more interaction with a wider variety of people, an overall support body called the "AUAP Friends Club of CWU" was created.

Club activities have included pumpkin carving parties, trips to Seattle, social hangouts at Grant's Pizza, Japanese language study sessions, signing up and playing intramural sports together, playing American and Japanese games at Game Nights, competing against other clubs in Wildcat Madness, competing in basketball and boling tournaments, and so on. There are no dues, and anyone interested in making friends is invited to join and help develop new activites and ways for members of both cultures to learn about and enjoy each other's company!

Friends Club meetings are Thursdays at 4:00-5:30 pm in Black Hall room 201

For more information, please contact the Student Services Assistant at auapssa@cwu.edu or search for "AUAP Campus Friend" on Facebook.
