Campus Friends

Take a look at what AUAP and CWU students thought about the Campus Friends Program.

I think it's a very good system! First of all, I can make a new friend in CWU! We can meet often, hang out, and have fun whenever we get the chance! I can practice speaking English while having a good time. They can teach me American culture. We can play sports together, and cook Japanese and American food together. Whenever we meet, we can have a fun time! After AUAP I want to keep in touch!

- Yuki Kitamura, Cycle I 2003

Yuki was a great friend to hang out with and get to know. Over the course of this quarter we've had a lot of fun doing stuff like cooking Japanese food, watching movies, playing games, and eating lunch together. It's awesome to get to know someone from a different country; it opens your eyes to their culture and makes you realize that there are so many different types of people out there. I've had a great experience with having a Campus Friend, in that I not only learned about the Japanese culture, but made a wonderful friend as well.
