About Us
The Office of International Studies and Programs
The Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP) provides campus-wide leadership and coordination in implementing the university's goals for international education and exchange. It works closely with faculty, staff, students, scholars, international partners, the local community, and international alumni in supporting initiatives to internationalize the campus.
Our Mission
OISP's mission is the promotion of cross-cultural and cross-national understanding. We strive to further the internationalization of the CWU campus community and the university’s curriculum, enhance the diversification of the student body and faculty, and provide quality academic programs, services, and experiences to a broad spectrum of students, faculty, and community residents.
Qualified faculty and staff create an overarching environment of diversity, intellectual discovery and inter-cultural communication dedicated to the development of global citizens who are fully aware of the challenges and opportunities embedded in the contemporary world system. OISP works closely with other campus departments, international partner institutions, national organizations, and state offices to fully utilize the resources necessary to prepare students and faculty for careers in international business, education, and services, as well as to extend the reach of educational and intellectual offerings.
