EMT Certification
Central offers an EMT-B certification program.
This is a 1 quarter course with an associated lab. The classroom portion is 9 hours per week and 6 hours of lab time per week. The course is listed as EMS 250 (9 credits) and EMS 250LAB (3 credits). Combined both classes constitute a full-time credit load. Currently, this course is offered during the Fall, Winter and Spring for the 2023/2024 academic year. There are no prerequisites for this course, but this course is a prerequisite to apply for the paramedic courses.
