This program focuses to prepare students for careers in healthcare, such as: corporate health-wellness programs, private health-fitness organizations, specialty strength and conditioning coaching, non-profit/community activity centers, institutional recreation centers, athlete identification and development programs, personal training, and military conditioning and performance.
Both the Exercise and Rehabilitation program and Human Performance, Strength and Conditioning program couple classroom-based learning with a variety of hands-on laboratory experiences. This strategy allows students to develop knowledge and practical skills necessary for a variety of health and healthcare related careers. Each student's journey will culminate with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting during a capstone 360-hour internship.
