Graduate Programs in Health Sciences
Enhance your career opportunities, master critical thinking, gain experience attending conferences, and develop skills in writing, public speaking, and research in one of our outstanding graduate programs.
The Department of Health Sciences offers three exceptional graduate programs. In each of these programs, students will take part in higher level classroom experiences, receive faculty-based mentoring, and complete a culminating experience worthy of an advanced degree. Nutrition, MS: This program helps students explore nutrition at an advanced level. The goal of the program is to prepare students to enter the workforce as a specialist in nutrition or to prepare for students continued education at the doctoral level. Applications to the MS in Nutrition Graduate Program are due January 15th to the CWU Graduate School.
Integrative Human Physiology, MS: This program combines knowledge from multiple sciences including anatomy, physiology, physics-biomechanics, biochemistry-metabolism, exercise physiology, nutrition, and statistics. You will engage with coursework and research to advance your understanding of human function.
Masters of Public Health, MPH: Students learn the various perspectives in public health to help you complete your capstone portfolio, including a project-based or research thesis, applied learning experience, and interprofessional education competencies. The leadership in diverse environments and jobs such as: Local, state, and federal agencies; Hospitals and clinics; Community-based and non-profit organizations; research institutions and other agencies in both domestic and global settings.

Assistantships
