GEOL 188 Geology and Environmental Geology Field Trips


This is a 1-credit course with no prerequisites for all students who are interested in learning a little bit about the amazing geology of the Pacific Northwest and meeting people in the geology department through a weekend field trip. The course is offered in the winter and spring, with field trips to Mt. St. Helens and Dry Falls.

Dates

In spring 2024, there are two sections of 188 offered: 

  • GEOL188.001: May 11-12
  • GEOL188.002: May 25-26

Both sections will go to Dry Falls.
