Don Ringe

1930 - 2018

We say goodbye - with great sorrow - to Don Ringe, a mainstay of CWU Geology for decades. Don taught almost everything here - from 1961 to 1993 - but is especially remembered for his wonderful daily slide shows that focused on Pacific Northwest geomorphology. Known for his dry humor and loyal presence in the lives of tens of thousands of undergraduates, we fondly remember Don as a key figure in the development of the CWU Geology Department that we enjoy today.
