The Winery Event Design Certificate at CWU blends event planning skills, business practices, and wine industry knowledge to prepare you for a career in designing and managing winery events. In our classes, you will study key aspects of event design, including planning, execution, marketing, and customer service, all within the context of the winery environment. You will also dig into the essentials of wine production and appreciation, fostering a well-rounded understanding of the industry.

“We designed the new certificate options so they would be accessible to all undergrads,” said Program Director Jill Perillo Clark. “The prerequisites are pretty flexible. Our goal is to open the classes up to anyone who is interested.”
