Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and School Health


The Physical Education and School Health, BS is a teacher-education program for those who want to teach physical education and health in K-12 school settings.

Through our program, you will apply theory to practice in school settings, allowing you to develop skills at both the elementary and secondary levels. With innovative approaches to PE and Health, we know you will do something great at CWU.

Thoughtful Lesson Plans

Learn various instructional strategies including game and sport-based models, human diseases, stress management, nutrition education, fitness education, cooperative learning, and adventure education. 

Hands-On Learning

We have four dedicated 10-week field experiences working with real children in elementary, middle-school, and high-school in both physical education and health.
