The Mathematics Middle-Level Education program at CWU prepares you to teach middle school math.
Our program promotes a deep understanding of middle-level mathematics content through courses in algebra, geometry, and statistics. You’ll learn different ways to cultivate meaningful student learning and a love of mathematics. This program typically pairs with the STEM Teaching Major giving you valuable hands-on experience in actual middle-school classrooms. The Middle-Level Math Education Major can be combined with the Elementary Education Major if your interests span beyond the middle school years.
