Local Ties

Select History 448 as an elective and become versed in the History of LatinXs in the Pacific Northwest, a class tracing the long history of the Chicanx and Latinx community in the PNW. You’ll learn about social movements, labor development, demographic shift, and migration to the region after World War II. 

International Credit

Studying abroad can be a great way to expand your understanding of Latino and Latin American Studies issues. Courses taken through CWU exchange or study-abroad programs in a Latin American university may be applied for program credit. Speak to a LLAS advisor for more details.
