Our Master’s in Integrative Human Physiology combines knowledge from multiple sciences including anatomy, physiology, physics-mechanics, biochemistry-metabolism, exercise physiology, nutrition, and statistics. Assistantships

Preferential consideration for Assistantship Awards valued at $20k+ will be given for completed applications received on time. Graduate Assistantships are available to outstanding graduate candidates. Students assist with research and instruct in clinical physiology and exercise science lectures and laboratory classes.

Admission Requirements

  • Completed Baccalaureate degree in:
    • Clinical-Human Physiology
    • Physiology of Exercise
    • Exercise Science
    • Biology
    • Kinesiology
    • Health Sciences
    • Chemistry
    • Nutrition
  • Official transcript required
  • GPA 3.0 (last 90 credits)
  • Three letters of recommendation, with at least two from professors in science-based classes.  
  • A written statement of purpose: max. 500 words, a clear, informative letter about your interest in graduate study, your career goals, and academic preparation

Program Options

One-Year Program

For students considering health careers in clinical settings, this concentrated degree will enhance knowledge and skills and the likelihood of acceptance into various post-baccalaureate professional healthcare programs such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician’s Assistant, Accelerated Nursing, Chiropractic Medicine, Prosthetics, and other healthcare arenas.

Our nine-month Master of Science in Integrative Human Physiology focuses on an advanced study of anatomy, physiology, metabolism, diseases and human behavior (activity, nutrition), and musculoskeletal mechanics and injuries.

Two-Year Program

Our two-year program is focused on enhancing and applying concepts learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios. Built around a strong research component, this degree is oriented for students seeking a Ph.D., seeking a research and/or teaching position in higher education, or seeking admission into a range of post-baccalaureate health care programs.
