Craft Brewing Minor or Certificate
The Craft Brewing Minor and Certificate options are designed to provide an understanding of the foundational concepts of brewing and fermentation science.
Completing either option will deliver key technical knowledge supplemented with engaging hands-on experiences and activities emphasizing the major concepts in brewing and fermentation science. A minor in Craft Brewing is ideal for students planning to major in another scientific discipline and a certificate is designed for non-science majors, introducing the concepts and core knowledge around brewing and fermentation science.

Guess what? You do not have to be 21 to participate in this programs! We do more then just brew beer, we dive into fermentation and the chemistry behind it.
Minor or Certificate?
If you are pursuing the certificate option, you can plan to skip the chemistry series listed on the left. Also, be sure to reach out to your Program Director to get set up on the certificate path.
