MCKENZIE BAIRD (Lecturer in Theatre & Dance) is a choreographer and director in the PNW who focuses on creating a “learner for life” mentality in her students. She earned her BA in Dance (Jazz Performance) from Point Park University and completed her MFA in Dance (Performance and Choreography) at Florida State University. As a dancer in both concert and theatrical settings her movement style fluctuates, but her starting impulse remains the same. “With passion and grit we move our bodies when nothing else will do. Movement is the universal language we share with our audience to take them on a journey to somewhere new.”
