A Bite of Dental Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry invites Dr. Joshua Kirk, DMD, for the June installment of 'A Bite of Science.'
Dr. Kirk is a local dentist and owner of Mountain View Dental in Ellensburg. He is a CWU alumnus and graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. He was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after years of additional education and extensive testing.
There is no shortage of information barraging us each day when it comes to our health. Join Dr. Kirk in 'A Bite of Dental Chemistry,' exploring the science of dentistry and more broadly, how to think scientifically as we receive information that impacts our health decisions.
'A Bite of Dental Chemistry' marks the last seminar for the academic year. It will be hosted at The Ridge Restaurant & Bar on Tuesday, June 9, at 5:30 PM, and is open to the public. For inquiries, reach out to The Department of Chemistry (chemistry@cwu.edu). The series returns October 2026.
