Natural Products Chemistry:

The extraction, isolation, and characterization of new chemical compounds from biological sources.

The study of the potential pharmacological activities of plant metabolites through collaborative efforts.

The use of current methods for determination of relative and absolute configurations of natural products.

 

Organic/Analytical Chemistry:

The chromatography and spectroscopy of organic compounds.
