Zabrina Jenkins is an Executive Advisor for Starbucks. Before joining Starbucks in 2005, she was an associate at the Seattle-based law firm, Garvey Schubert Barer, where she focused on commercial litigation matters, including labor and employment law. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1992, a MS from the Syracuse University School of Education, and a JD from Syracuse University College of Law.
Jenkins has been a member of the advisory board for the CWU College of Business, a member of the CWU Foundation Board, a guest lecturer, and spoke at CWU’s commencement ceremony in Kent in 2012. Her community engagement includes “Girls Can Do,” which encourages and empowers young women to pursue their dreams; “Washington Leadership Institute,” which recruits, trains, and develops traditionally underrepresented attorneys for future leadership positions in the Washington State Bar Association and in the legal community.
Jenkins is on her second six-year term that ends in September 2030.
